How to Make My PC Run Like New - A Hidden Trick Hardly Anyone Knows

It's a common problem to have a computer that runs slow with age. This issue has been a big problem for many years and is one which is still affecting millions of people today, even with the latest computers. Fortunately, there's actually a hidden trick to make your PC run like new which you can use today to make your PC run a lot faster. Here's what you need to do... The reason why computers run slow with age is nothing to do with the hardware of your PC or your PC becoming "outdated" in some way. In fact, the way in which most Windows PCs run slow is actually down to a part of Windows called the "registry" and how it's vital to the smooth operation of your system. The registry is the central database for Windows which stores the settings and options that your PC needs to run. It's basically like a telephone directory... except instead of telephone numbers, it keeps the likes of your saved passwords and your screen resolution. Not many people actually know the "registry database" exists, but it's actually the biggest reason why Windows runs slower with age. The problem is all down to how your computer needs to use the registry constantly, and how it needs to read 100's of files from it every time you use your PC. Each time you use Windows, the registry needs to read many different settings, and it often reads to many settings that it gets confused about which ones it has open, leading it to save many of them in the wrong way. This causes a lot of these settings to become damaged and unreadable, making Windows unable to read them quickly. This makes your PC seem slower as it takes longer to process the files it needs. What makes many computers run slower is the way in which these registry files are constantly being damaged, and making Windows run slower and sower each day. This is a big problem which builds over time and makes any PC seem to run slower with age. Fortunately, there's a very simple trick to reverse this problem and make your PC run like new again. One of the most effective things you can do for a Windows PC is perform a "detox" of all the registry settings that are damaged on it. You can use a "registry cleaner" to scan through your system and fix any of the damaged or corrupted settings that are inside it. These "registry cleaners" are powerful software programs which scan through your computer and fix any of the damaged or corrupt settings that Windows has inside it. If you can get a good tool that is able to fix the largest number of corrupted registry settings, you'll be able to make your PC run like new again by fixing all the errors that are making it run slow.
In order to make Windows run like new, you should try using a "registry cleaner" to scan through any of the damaged or corrupted settings that are inside your PC. You can download a registry cleaner to make your computer run extremely fast again.

Computer Suddenly Running Slow? A Trick to Boost the Speed of Any PC in Seconds

One of the most frustrating problems for computer users nowadays is the way in which many PCs can actually run slower overnight. This is a problem which can affect even the newest computers and is affecting millions of people around the World every day. Fortunately, there's a trick to fix this problem for good. The reason why your computer has suddenly started to run slowly is nothing to do with the hardware you have or the programs you've installed. It's all down to the 'settings' inside your PC and the number of them which are corrupted and damaged. Unfortunately, the speed of your Windows PC is directly affected by the number of settings it has that are readable, and your PC has suddenly started to run slow because many of its settings have just become corrupted and damaged. Windows works like a librarian - every time you want to do something, it has to look through 1,000's of settings to bring up all the details that you have for your PC. These settings are all stored inside a database called the "registry", which is basically the central nervous system of your computer. The registry is being used every time you use your computer & is responsible for storing everything from your latest emails to your desktop wallpaper. However, Windows depends so much on the registry that any damaged settings inside it can make it run extremely slowly and with errors. The reason why your computer is now running slowly is because windows has accidentally corrupted or damaged some of the settings inside this registry database, which in turn makes it extremely difficult for your computer to read them. The problem with most slow computers is that Windows often opens so many settings at once that it gets confused and saves many wrongly, making the settings corrupt and damaged. This makes your PC unable to read the settings it needs, slowing it down. Windows saves many registry settings wrongly each time you use your computer... and it's started to run slowly because it's corrupted a very important setting that it needs to read. The trick to fixing your computer and making it run faster again is to make sure all the settings on your computer are in order. To do this, you should use a 'registry cleaner' tool which will scan through the registry database and remove any of the damaged or corrupted files that are inside there. These tools are widely used on the Internet to help Windows computers to run faster. They can be very effective, but only if you get one which can find and fix the largest number of corrupt settings.
You can make your PC run faster by using a 'registry cleaner' to fix all the damaged settings that are inside it. You can Click Here to make your PC faster in seconds.

Slow Computer Speed - A Trick to Explode Your Computer Speed in Minutes

Computers are notorious for running slowly and with errors, with millions of people having to put up with their PC running at a snail's pace every day. However, there's actually a hidden trick that not many people are aware of that can explode your computer's speed in minutes. Here's how... The problem with most slow computers is that they are unable to process the files & settings they want in a fast and orderly manor. Not many people are aware of this, but the main reason why computers run slow is because they simply cannot read the files and settings that Windows needs to run, making it unable to do the things you want quickly enough. To fix a slow computer, you should start by fixing all the damaged files & settings that make your PC unable to run quickly. The biggest problem for computers is the 'registry' becomes corrupt and damaged. This is a part of Windows which stores information and settings for all the software programs on your PC, and is where the likes of your desktop wallpaper, recent files and Internet bookmarks are stored. As you can imagine, the registry is a very important part of Windows which is constantly being opened 100's of times a day by your computer to help it run. However, it's also prone to becoming corrupt, which makes Windows unable to read it properly. Windows is famous for running slowly, but its mostly because of a problem caused by the 'registry' which makes your PC unable to run fast. The problem is that since your computer needs to read 100's of registry files each time you use your PC, it's constantly opening and reading more settings than it can handle. This makes Windows confused and leads it to save many of the files it needs in the wrong way, causing it to struggle to read them next time. The trick to fixing your computer's slow speed is to use a 'registry cleaner' to fix all the damaged settings that are inside the registry. These are software tools which you can install and then use to speed up Windows, allowing it to run faster and smoother. This is a really good way to boost the speed of your PC as it will allow Windows to read all the settings it needs.
You can speed up Windows and make it run as fast as it did when it was new by using a 'registry cleaner' to remove all the damaged settings from the registry. You can Click Here to speed up your PC.

Who Says an Old Dog Can't Learn New Tricks?

Can an Old Dog Learn New Tricks? This is one cliche that makes my teeth hurt. Not only is it untrue, it is anti-canine and ageist, and I don't support either. Our dog-referred to as Puppy in all public communication-is not really a puppy anywhere but in my heart. He is somewhere between 5 and 6 years old (being a rescue dog, we can't pinpoint it any closer than that). The point is that while he is no longer quite as youthful as he once was, he is still quite adept at learning. Puppy learns all kinds of new things. Recently, he learned the sound of a banana being ripped off the bunch. Puppy LOVES bananas and now never misses an opportunity to share a bit of the fruit. Especially if I'm the one with the banana, since I'm the one Most Likely to Share with Puppy. He knows. If Hubby gets a banana, it might warrant opening an eye to determine whether any hits the floor. If I pull a banana off the bunch, four legs fight to see who can propel his long body to me first. "But learning to love sweets is not what we're talking about," I hear you say. No problem. Puppy has also learned to clean up his toys (he's much neater than the kids), clear his dishes after he eats (ditto), and most recently how to "high-five." I frequently teach him new tricks and behaviors precisely because I think it's important for him to continue to learn throughout his life. Besides, it's really cute. "You still don't get it, Judi," you continue undaunted. "The point is about people learning new tricks. Dogs are merely a metaphor. Think Aesop." Fine. I still don't buy the cliche. After they retired, my formerly unathletic parents began all kinds of adventures. They learned to snow shoe, to handle sea kayaks, and hike on a quasi regular basis. I know other people who at retirement age have learned to type Braille, speak another language, or begin an entirely new career. Other people venture into new technology. Cathy loved her job in customer service. For years, she had been happy to let the computer generation pass her by, seeing no need for her to learn "those things." People offered to teach her various computer skills, but she politely declined, content to do her job with the high attention to detail she'd always managed without a computer. Eventually, however, it became clear that technology was here to stay and that in order to remain in her function, Cathy would need to catch up to the computer generation. She wasn't excited about it, but she was determined. In record time, Cathy became so proficient at the software required for her position that she became the "go to" person when there were questions. Her exceptional performance without the technology translated rapidly to the new platform. Penny Heneke, "a senior with time on her hands," decided age was not a deterrent to taking violin lessons when she learned the studio also had two 92 year olds taking instruction. While not yet a virtuoso, she can proudly play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and various other pieces (see Making Music Magazine for more about Penny). At 48, Troy learned to use a sewing machine. At 82, Marie learned to play the piano. At 73, Robert learned to golf. At 67, Marc learned to be a zoo docent. At 58, Rebecca learned to swim. The list goes on and on. Who says an old dog can't learn new tricks? But for that matter, who gets to define "old dog?"

How to Stop Your Computer's Crashing - A Simple Trick to Stop Your PC From Crashing Constantly

Computers that crash are not only annoying, but incredibly damaging as well. Not only do they prevent you from being able to do what you want on your system, but they can make you lose unsaved work and games as well. Fortunately, there's a trick to fix this problem once and for all. When a computer crashes, it's like it's hit a brick wall and it cannot do anything else. The "crash" of your PC is where your system goes into panic mode and just freezes whilst it tries to do the things you want. This is a problem that has affected computers since their invention... but is an issue which is becoming increasingly easy to fix. The way to stop your computer from crashing is simple - you just need to be able to fix the cause of the crash. And not many people know this, but the main cause of your system crashing is actually a hidden database called the 'registry'. The registry is where your computer stores all the settings and information about your computer, including your latest emails, desktop wallpaper and even your login passwords. It's highly important, but is the main reason behind Windows crashing all the time. The biggest reason why computers crash is all down to how they use the 'registry'. The registry is a database which is being used 100's of times by your computer every time you use it. However, because this database is used so much, Windows gets confused about it and ends up trying to save it in the wrong way. This causes the registry to become jumbled up and full of errors... and means that when your PC next needs to read it, it's actually having to take longer to decode all the settings it needs. This decoding takes time, which slows your computer down.... but if it is unable to read the files it needs (because they are so messed up), then it will just crash. Crashing computers are highly annoying, but luckily, there's a very easy way to fix them. You just need to be able to use a tool called a ' registry cleaner' to scan through the registry database and fix all of the corrupt files that are in there. These tools are automated and scan through your whole PC, removing the most registry errors that are causing crashes on your system. You just need to download one of these tools, install it and then let it scan your system. If you have a good registry tool, it will be able to quickly remove most of the damaged files that are in there, stopping the crashes for good.
You can Stop Your Computer Crashing by using a registry cleaner tool. These are very effective and work on autopilot, allowing you to quickly fix the cause of the crashes. You can Click Here to fix computer crashes for good.

Are You Fully Aware Of The True Flexibility Of Excel Formulas? (Number 1)

Stella, the manager of a section within one of the major accounting firms happened to be passing young Fred's desk on her way to the coffee machine. Fred was the most junior member of her team. 'Stella, excuse me but how do you edit the contents of a cell in Excel,' Fred asked just loud enough so that she could hear. 'Well there are two main ways,' Stella said as she wondered round Fred's desk so she could see his computer screen. 'With your cursor pointing to the cell you can press the F2 key, or you can edit the text by clicking in the area that covers most of the row just below the icons at the top of the screen. Why do you want to know?' 'This pro-forma fixed asset spreadsheet I have is depreciating the category of assets I am working on at 20% but Pete my supervisor wants these ones depreciated at 15%. So I have to go through all of the formulas and change '.2' to '.15'' Fred replied. 'Who designed the pro-forma spreadsheet?' Stella asked. 'Susan designed it just after she came back from her three day Excel course, the one I am due to attend next year,' Fred replied. Susan was sitting at her desk only a few metres away. 'Sue, can you come over here for a minute, please,' Stella asked, looking in Sue's direction. 'How can I help?', Sue asked as she approached Fred's desk. Stella continued. 'Sue, at your course, did the instructor not tell you to provide specific cells for users to put things that could vary? Things like depreciation, gross and net profit percentages, and many more variables that could crop up in spreadsheets designed for various different purposes. If you do that, and include the address of the variable in formulas where necessary, the user only needs to change the contents of one cell and all relevant formulas will automatically be adjusted, thus saving the user a lot of work. In addition a user with no detailed knowledge of Excel will be able to tailor the spreadsheet to suit their individual requirements.' 'Yes, I remember him telling us that,' Sue replied. 'Well, why haven't you done that here, in the case of the depreciation calculations?' 'When I copied the formula down the page, the address of the cell containing the depreciation rate changed and so, after the first one, the formula did not work. I reckoned that it would be easier for the user to change the rate in the first formula and for him or her to copy the new formula down the page. The formula would work all the time then.' 'And what if the user did not know how to edit the first formula or how to copy it down the screen?' Stella asked. 'Fred was planning to change every individual formula.' 'I guess I did not consider that possibility,' Sue replied with a sheepish grin. Stella continued. 'Did the instructor mention 'relative references' versus 'absolute' and 'mixed references'?' 'I think so, but I did not really understand that bit.' Sue replied with a grimace. 'Fred, give me a sheet of paper,' Stella said, forgetting all about the coffee she had been on her way to get. Fred did as he was told and Stella produced a pen from somewhere before scribbling down four cell addresses. They were 'A1', '$A1', 'A$1', and '$A$1. Beside 'A1' she wrote the word 'Relative', beside '$A1' she wrote 'Mixed', she did the same with 'A$1', and beside '$A$1' she wrote 'Absolute'. 'Right,' she continued. 'The first address, 'A1' is the simple column and row address that beginners are taught in their first lesson. If, say cell 'C3' refers to that in its simplest form. '=A1', whatever is in cell 'A1' will appear in cell 'C3'. If the formula in cell 'C3' is copied to cell 'D3' the formula that appears in cell 'D3' will change to '=B1', and whatever is in cell 'B1' will appear in cell 'D3'. If the copying process is continued 'E3' will equal 'C1', 'F3' will equal 'D1' and so on. Similarly if cell 'C3' is copied downwards, 'C4' will equal 'A2', 'C5 will equal 'A3' and so on. This basic formula in cell 'C3', '=A1" is called a 'relative reference'. However you can stop both the row and the column changing by putting a Dollar sign in front of either the column letter or the row number. This can be achieved both by directly typing in the Dollar sign or signs, or by toggling between the four possibilities by pressing 'F4'. Both '=$A1' and '=A$1' are called 'mixed references'.' Stella carried on. 'If '=$A1' in cell 'C3' is copied to the right, all of the cells it is copied into will read '=$A1' and whatever is in 'A1' will appear in all these cells. However the row number has not been held, and so, like in the example of the 'relative formula', if the contents of cell 'C1'is copied downwards,'C4' will equal 'A2', 'C5 will equal 'A3' and so on. Similarly if '=A$1' in cell 'C3' is copied to the right, the cells it is copied into will read '=B$1', '=C$1' and so on, just like in the example of the 'relative reference'. However, this time, the row number has been held, and so, if the contents of cell 'C1' is copied downwards,'C4' will read '=A$1', 'C5' will also read '=A$1' and so on, and whatever is in 'A1' will appear in these cells.' 'Now it must by obvious what is achieved by the 'absolute reference',' Stella carried on. 'Can either of you guess?' ''=$A$1' will appear in all cells 'C3' is copied into whether it be to the right or downwards,' Sue suggested with a grin. 'Good girl,' said Stella. 'And don't forget this also extends to copying to the left and copying upwards,' she added. 'Now Fred do you have any other work you can do for the rest of the afternoon?' 'Yes, plenty,' Fred replied. 'Well leave your spreadsheet until tomorrow. Sue, I want you to re-do your fixed asset spreadsheet, if necessary taking it home, so that tomorrow, Fred can fill in the details without adjusting any of your formulas; understood?' 'Yes,' the two trainees said in unison. Stella left them to get organised. Goodness I really need that cup of coffee now, she thought to herself, as she headed towards the kitchen.

A Way to Stop Computer Crashes For Good - Secret Computer Trick Revealed

Computer crashes are a big problem for many computers around the World, regardless of what system they are running or how old they are. Unfortunately, many people don't have a clue about how to fix this problem, but there's actually a secret method that computer experts use to get almost any PC running smoothly again. In this article, I want to explain this trick and show you exactly how you can do it (it's very easy). The way to stop a computer from crashing is to fix the errors that cause it to crash in the first place. Computer crashes are basically your PC's way of hitting the "panic button" and restarting your system to avoid any problems occurring inside it. Unfortunately, this means that systems can crash for a huge number of reasons, and in order to identify & fix the specific problem with your PC could take a very long time. The trick that computer technicians use to stop crashes is to clean out a part of Windows called the "registry". The registry is a database which stores vital settings and information that your computer needs to run. It's where everything from your desktop wallpaper & desktop icons, all the way through to your stored passwords are kept, and is a very important part of your PC. Not many people know this, but the registry is actually one of the biggest reasons why Windows crashes, and so fixing the problems it typically has can be an effective way to make your system run faster and smoother. Unfortunately, the registry of Windows is like a double-edged sword, in that it's one of the most important parts of your system which is constantly causing a lot of issues for your PC. The problem is that since the registry database contains settings for all the software on your computer, it's constantly being opened and read 100's of times each time you use your PC. The problem is that because so many registry files are opened at once, your computer often gets confused about the files it wants, leading your PC to save many of them in the wrong way. This causes many parts of the registry to become damaged and unreadable, leading your computer to take longer to load up and read the files, which makes it run slower and often crash. Getting your PC to stop crashing is all about fixing the errors that cause it to do so... and the trick that many computer experts use to do this is to use a 'registry cleaner' to scan through your PC and fix all the errors that are inside the registry database of your system. This is a very effective method because it sets all the settings and files of your PC back into a reliable and readable manor, that many computers will be able to read in an instant. And the real secret to doing this is to use a 'registry cleaner' to scan through the registry database and fix the errors that are inside. These are highly popular software tools which clean through the registry database of your system and remove any of the damaged or corrupt settings that are inside it, which should prevent 90% of the crashes on your PC.
You can stop computer crashes by using a 'registry cleaner' to fix any of the damaged or corrupt settings that are causing your computer to run slower & crash. You can Click Here to fix computer crashes.

Learning on the Go: Benefits of Online Training Programs

Improving the employees' performances is one of the main concerns of the management team. With increased productivity, the company can earn more and expand. One of the teaching methods that companies can use is an online training program. An online training program has several benefits that traditional teaching can't provide. Setting up a seminar for the entire company may be a tedious task since the schedule must be compatible with everyone. One of the benefits of online training programs is its flexibility. Since most of the modules are supplied over the Internet, the employees can access them anytime, anywhere. An online training program eliminates the hassle of finding the right time for the learning process. Rather than fitting it into their schedules, employees can do it whenever they have time. Some online training programs can be done during breaks in the office while some can be done as take-home assignments. Another benefit of online training programs is its cost-effectiveness. Compared with traditional classes, they offer cheaper expenses since there are minimal requirements. The company doesn't need to spend much on supplies like books and modules since these can be uploaded online. With just a computer and an Internet connection, the employee can do the modules at home. An online training program also eliminates the need to travel and a big venue for external training sessions, helping the company save on additional expenses. With just a click of their mouse, employees can access their online courses. The company can also set up a forum where in the employees can input their ideas regarding the lessons. This is helpful for companies that have several employees designated in different locations. What's even better is that the resources for the training can be reused and updated for future trainings. An online training program like CRM online training also allows employees to learn at their own pace and preference. As long as the company's operation will not be at stake, employees can complete the training at the time most convenient for them. The content for an online CRM training are also delivered substantially and consistently throughout the entire course. Although a few instructions are given, the content is provided with as much objectivity there is. Without any bias and misinterpretations, the same message will be spread across the board for employees to learn. Since a shorter time frame is needed to teach applications and processes like computer networking support, the employees can immediately apply these for company operations. This will help the company evaluate if the online program gave sufficient knowledge for the employees. In case there are still flaws, advanced training sessions may be provided.

How to Make Windows Run Faster - A DIY Computer Trick That Can Make Your PC Run Lightning Fast

There are many methods & ways that people try to use to make their computer run faster, but there's one DIY trick which works every time. This tutorial is going to explain how fixing one part of your Windows system could actually make it run extremely fast, allowing you to run more programs on your system & make your PC load up quicker. Here's what you need to do... The trick I want to share with you is all about cleaning the registry of your computer. This might sound like a very simple thing to do, but it's extremely effective and can make your PC run like new again, if you do it right. Unfortunately, many people recommend to "clean the registry" of your computer... but don't actually explain how it works or why it can be effective. In order to get the most out of this trick, you need to be fully aware of what it does and how it can benefit your PC. The way to speed up any Windows PC is to repair the problems that cause it to run slow. Most people make the fatal mistake of thinking that their hardware must be out of date, or that they don't have enough memory to allow their computer to run fast. However, the fact is that all Windows computers can run fast if they are able to read all the files, settings & options that they require to run; and they are stored in the "registry" database. The registry is one of the most important, but misunderstood, parts of the Windows system. It's best described as being like a "phone book" for your computer - storing vital settings that your PC can "look up" any time it needs to. This part of your system is very important, because it allows your computer to read the various files that it needs to run, making your PC run smoothly and extremely effectively. However, it's often the case that many registry settings will either become damaged or corrupted, which leads Windows to take longer to read the settings it needs from the database, slowing it down. Having a corrupt registry database is one of the biggest problems that can face a typical Windows system, and is the main reason why most computers run slow. Fortunately, you can fix this problem easily by using a "registry cleaner" tool. The trick many people are now using to boost the speed of their computers is to use a Registry Cleaner to scan through the registry of your PC and fix the errors inside. A registry cleaner is a software tool specifically designed to fix errors inside the registry of your system, allowing your computer to run like it did when it was new. If you're able to use a good registry cleaner program, you could make your PC extremely fast.

Introduction to Different Types of CRM

Advancement in technologies paved the way for a more efficient internal work processes. Computers and other software helped augment the quality and quantity of employees output as technology developed over time. Work is made easier, interaction and communication is better, and relaying needs and saving company progress is simpler. One of these innovations in software technology is called Customer or (Contact) Relationship Management (CRM). Customer Relationship Management is a system for managing and supervising customer relations between businesses and the clients. It basically focuses on maintaining the current breed of clients while updating the database for prospective sales leads generated through lead generation. This software stores the client's relevant information in the company's database and server. This information typically includes all contact numbers, addresses, preferred phone times, and even previous calls made. Some companies even encode the brands and its products as additional information regarding the client. Interestingly there are different types of CRM systems used by different companies today. These kinds serve the needs of small and multinational companies to create a focus on their business. The different types of CRM zoom in on one objective: to create more sales and opportunities through one technology, which will improve the quality of the company's services. CRM stores all data from various departments such as marketing, customer service, and accounting databases. The following lists the most common types of CRM software employed by companies today. Operational This type of ACT CRM software focuses on the software applications that connect and bound all disengaged data sets of the company. This system provides information from various server or databases in a single web page so employees can offer rapid services to the clients. The system is so extensive that some companies require their employees to learn from ACT training online. After lessons, operational CRM becomes highly beneficial to a company by allowing the employees to provide speedy and quality service and response without the hassle of shifting from different software. The company can access different sales records, technical information, and logistics information using CRM software. The Debate Over Public Vs Private Cloud Computing

Whenever discussing cloud computing systems, you will often hear mentions made to private and public clouds, along with debates over the comparative advantages of each. To the cloud technology novice, this entire private cloud vs. public cloud dispute can sometimes sound like it is being debated in a foreign language. The following article identifies the differences between public and private cloud computing, and explains their important differences in common terminology. Defining Private Cloud Technology To put it simply, private cloud technology is a type of architecture that is set up for a lone client (generally a large business). With this kind of arrangement, the provider controls the framework but enables the client to control data storage, as well as the manner in which it's transferred. It's this higher degree of customer control that makes private cloud technology popular with clients who happen to be particularly concerned about security. Benefits of Private Cloud Solutions By providing the customer additional control, the private cloud is able to eliminate many prospective security concerns. By shifting its existing IT system to the cloud, the client will be able to enjoy the conveniences of scalability, flexibility and better productivity, but has the ability to do so without having to sacrifice the accountability for data security that may be related to public cloud computing systems. The Disadvantages to Private Cloud Technology Possibly the biggest problem with private cloud services is that often the end user must purchase computer hardware, configure it, and be able to continue to maintain it. While the public cloud consumer can essentially buy a cheap, ready-from-the-box system that can be employed immediately, the private user has to commit substantial capital up front to get a system that will be hosted internally, and then continue to deal with its management going forward. So as to benefit from the increased security that comes with a private solution, this is the required trade-off. Understanding Public Cloud Computing Instead of the closed design in the private cloud, public cloud computing solutions are almost always available to the public. Consequently all users using the service manage their files, and utilize software and platforms from a shared network server. The cloud computing vendor handles all online security and control over data files and software. Advantages of Public Cloud Solutions In terms of flexibility, scalability, hassle-free operation, and cost-effectiveness, public cloud technology surpasses private cloud alternatives each day of the week. The ability to make use of all services, especially infrastructure, on a pay-per-use framework, and become rid of the problems connected to their routine management delivers what many business users point to as the greatest advantage of cloud technology. The Drawbacks to Public Cloud Systems As alluded to in the previous paragraph, weaker security is the main relative disadvantage in public cloud technology. That isn't to suggest that public services do not possess security - quite a few have fantastic procedures in place - however, for clients who deal in large amounts of very-delicate personal data (e.g. financial businesses), the very idea of entrusting this information to a third party can often be intolerable. You Choose Which is Better! Public Cloud or Private Cloud Computing? The answer to this specific question clearly will depend on the client's kind of business. While public cloud services would seem to have public options beat on most fronts, the point that they put the responsibility for guarding client's confidentiality in the hands of another party is not just unnerving, but can even cause legal problems in some areas. To lay this particular round of the debate to sleep, if your business does not require an elevated amount of data security, then the public cloud option will be better to fill your needs. Should your company deal in privileged customer data, though, private cloud computing options will still supply you with much improved scalability, flexibility and ease of use, however you will wind up paying more to have greater security.

An Interesting Computer Trick

There are lots of articles and posts available in the internet that describes how you make your computer fast. On of these is applying best performance option in the control panel. But enabling this option you have to compromise with best appearance which you don't want. But don't worry, I have a trick in which you will get best performance without compromising your best appearance settings. I already applied this trick with my PC for the past 10 years and it's working fine. Follow the Steps below. step1: Right click on desktop and select properties; step2: In the appearance tab, click on effects, tick the 2nd option(if not already selected) and in the drop down menu select 'clear type'. Uncheck all the options, then click ok and apply. step3: now in the theme tab save your settings say 'my theme' for example, then apply and ok; step4: Now right click on my computer, go to advance-->performance settings and select adjust for best performance, then click apply then ok; (Note: if you already performed this step before step 1&2, then you have to select for best appearance first before applying step 1) step5: Right click on desktop and select properties; step6: In the theme tab, in the drop down menu of 'save as' option select 'my current theme' and click on apply button. Again in the drop down menu select 'my theme' as you saved earlier and click on apply and then ok and you are done. Don't forget to comment about this trick. The Importance of DNS and IP Address

Now day's innumerous websites are being used on the web and daily people creating various websites. To find out the site of interest of a particular field or person people use the domain name system and internet protocol address to access their site of interest. The DNS and the IP address play an important role here to get people to the desired website. The DNS is used to translate the domain name into an IP address that helps the user to visit the desired website. In the absence of the domain name system it takes a long time to visit any website. At the present scenario people should be aware of these two things and it does not matter whether they are a computer geek or not. So let's talk about some basic things of DNS. A domain name system is used to retain the domain name hierarchy. The DNS manages to translate the service between it and the address spaces. The organizations that offer managed IT services also have hosting services for managed servers. There is a particular web server that does the task of maintaining the domain names and addresses. It is a computer system assigned and set in such a way that it directs the user into the specified direction. The second thing is the internet protocol address. It is meant to use for labeling all the devices present in the network. Here the network device can be a computer system, scanner, printer etc. that is comprised in the network. The DNS acts for the name of the searched item and the user gets it from the IP which is the address for that and lets us grab it. With the increasing advancement in the technology the internet is continuously expanding itself at a fast rate. Sometimes it is very difficult to navigate through it. It is very necessary that the website has a low loading time otherwise the user may change for another site. The secondary domain name service can also be used that behaves like a backup and it does not let your domain name down. If you are taking the web hosting services then the provider should also have a good IT support system to provide quick assistance if there is any issue in the loading process of your site. Having an efficient IT support team, the control and accessibility of the network automatically get nourished. The benefits a user gets from the service provider are enhanced security, flexibility and the most important thing is that your process is running by a skilled backend team.

How to Speed Up My Computer - Tricks of the Trade

If you're asking how to speed up my computer, you are definitely among the majority of computer users wanting to know the exact same thing. Personal computers, while one of the most useful and powerful technological tools to come along in the last 100 years, are not totally perfect devices. Like most complex products, they can be prone to problems that interfere with their operation. The good news is that by putting a little effort into learning more about the inner workings of your PC, you can recover some of that lost performance. When the question how to speed up my computer is asked, it's best to consider the most obvious things that could be behind the problem. One of the most common is running multiple programs simultaneously. Many PC users prefer having all the applications they use during the day open at the same time. They will even set up their computer to launch all those programs whenever they first boot up. What many users don't realize is this just makes your PC work harder than it really has to. The CPU, or "brain" of your computer, has to be constantly accessing these open applications. That can slow down the application you're using at the time and give you less than optimum performance. It's a no-brainer: Close infrequently used applications so your PC can give its full attention to the program you're working on. You can get an answer to your question "How to speed up my computer?" when you use PC diagnostic software. This particular kind of software is designed specifically to look at the many different systems on your PC for anything that might be hampering its performance. The software will evaluate your system and make recommendations for correcting any problems it detects. You can then tell the software to make the fixes it suggests and recover lost performance. Speeding up your PC is something everyone strives for. You can see significant performance increases with just a little simple maintenance that eliminates unneeded data that's crowding your registry or other corners of your hard drive. And you can use your diagnostic software to provide you with a snapshot of how well your PC is performing and offer suggestions for improvement. You'll enjoy your PC even more when your systems are all in sync with one another and those annoying system crashes are a thing of the past.

Choose the Right IT Support Company for Your Business

With today's technology challenges and issues, great IT support companies are essential to the success of a growing business. As a technology related company one of the most important decisions you will make is to select an IT support company. If a business' products require a lot of technical support, outsourcing the job of providing that support can be one of the best moves the business makes. Using dedicated IT support companies allows businesses to get their support questions answered in a timely and efficient manner; while freeing up your IT staff that could be doing things that directly affects your company's productivity. There are many things to consider when choosing an IT support company. · Qualifications: Is the company or individual you are working with qualified to do the work? · Insurance: Is the potential business insured? · Payment Methods: Does the company accept cash only? Do they demand payment up-front? IT support firms can be a big plus for your business, as they can typically solve everyday computing programs fairly quickly, reducing employee downtime. The most basic part of your business's IT program is having the right IT systems in place to meet the needs of your company. While it is important to be able to fix IT problems never underestimate the value of having good equipment to minimize employee downtime, cost, and frustration. For businesses that get a variety of assistance requests, or have to deal with complex IT issues, it is typically better to outsource their tasks to IT support firms in the same city as the business' customer base. Customers with complex requests need to be able to speak with support personnel who are very fluent in the native language, so both sides can get their points across with accuracy and speed. Many companies who get complaints about their tech support have made the mistake of hiring people who simply cannot communicate effectively with their customers. When you select an IT company to provide services for your business you should pay attention to a few key factors such as cost, and availability. IT service companies are factoring that they can absorb the costs of a particular service by spreading the cost with multiple customers to give them a price advantage over internal IT organizations providing the same service. It is also important that you understand just when your IT support company will be available to your business. It does you no good to have top quality IT professionals if they aren't available for those late night problems. Keep in mind, as a business manager/owner you don't want to waste a lot of time managing a computer network, and you can't afford to waste money on an IT service company that is not a good fit for your business. By making sure you look at a few key areas when evaluating potential IT consultants, your business can profit from a strong information technology department.

With that said, your computer is slowing down because your device gets saturated with useless data, what I mean is that your computer is cluttered with trash. What do I mean by trash? Let me make it simple, you see every time you install and uninstall any piece of software or programs on your machine there will always going to be data files left behind, mainly registry data files. And these files will get cluttered over time. This is the root cause of computer slowdowns and in order to fix this you have to eliminate every single "trash" (registry data files that were left behind). To accomplish that you should use a Registry Cleaner software program, these kinds of programs will search and get rid of all of the invalid, corrupted and left above registry data files. Important Tips to Protect Your Valuable Data

It amazes me how many people I come across who have had their hard drive fail and tell me that they have an external hard drive and they had been meaning to do a backup, but never have. Data recovery by a reputable company here in Australia starts at around the $300 mark and can cost up to $2400 or more, depending on how much difficulty is involved in getting the data off the hard drive. keep in mind when you're considering your backup strategy that there are no guarantees about recovering data from a drive that has failed, sometimes they just can't get anything back from the drive. Just about everyone has important stuff stored on their computers. These can include photos, general Microsoft Office documents, music, bookkeeping systems, etc. There is a general rule to follow that will keep your data safe, if you follow this rule your data will survive just about any catastrophe. You need to have 3 copies of your data, one on the computer and two backups. The two backups should be on two different types of media, one of which should be stored off-site. Here's the reason that I've recommended an off site copy of your data. Lets suppose that you've been really good and doing backups regularly onto an external hard drive. Now what happens if there's a fire and everything is destroyed? Or, if a thief breaks in and steals all of your computer equipment? If you have a backup off-site you have no need to worry. I recommend Carbonite for your off-site backup, because once it's configured it's simple, automated and needs very little monitoring. While I have said that your backup needs to be on two different types of media, it is also acceptable to have your backups on two portable hard drives. Then keep one at a family members home or a friends place, it will give you an excuse to go and visit them on a regular basis so that you can swap the hard drives over. With that said, you need to copy your data onto the portable drive before you go and swap it over. Otherwise you've wasted your time and money. Although the friend / relative will probably love to see you. To manage the backups you can use a number of methods, here are a list of those that will cost you money:- 1. Use a utility like Acronis True Image Home to automate the backup plus there is also an option to backup to their online vault. 2. Carbonite as mentioned above. 3. Google backup software for a huge list of utilities There are also free utilities for those who are a little more cost conscious:- 1. EASEus To-Do-Backup 2. Windows backup (it is included with most versions of Windows) 3. Google backup software free for another huge list Remember, just like in Real Estate there are three important things to protect the things on your computer that you don't want to lose, BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP!

Why Do People Like Tricks?

People love them for several reasons. One reason is because people are obsessed with magic, supernatural, and things that not everybody can do. Another reason is the desire for attention, when you make a good trick, everyone will praise. Another reason is because they relax and entertain people. There are several kinds of tricks, and the most popular are, tricks with cards, tricks with coins, tricks with bottles, tricks for computer games (the desire to prove that we talked about) and computer tricks. Something that is not the usual are tricks for the eyes. These are called optical illusions, pictures where you can find more meanings. Illusions are art, and they are the most popular in the United States. Today on the Internet you can find a lot of tricks on the various pages. In the past, the tricks were forbidden, and anyone who was involved in trickery and magic, was punished. Such people were called witches. Perhaps this is why, they are so popular. Nowadays, when most things are allowed, it is expressed human desire for everything that is not common. Forbidden fruit is sweetest. The most famous magicians today are David Copperfield and David Blaine. Both are named David and they both deal with magic. Sounds a bit scary to you? It's just a coincidence. These magicians have made some of the biggest illusions ever. For example, when David Copperfield made the Statue of Liberty disappear. Unknowns are how they manage to do these tricks, but that's why we love tricks.

PDF EBook Security Software - The Functionality You Should Look for

EBook authors and publishers have for long suffered the effects of the piracy of their intellectual property; so it is about time that effective software is developed to stop or discourage pirates from sustaining this trend. Some of the functions that authors desire in PDF security software for their eBooks include the capability to share them securely, control their use, and a platform that lets them see when and the frequency with which their eBooks are viewed and printed. They also desire a PDF eBook security software suite that can stop document copying, sharing, modifying, saving, inhibit screen grabbing and print screen, stop printing to file, image printer or PDF format, and block access to documents. Power is nothing without control, or so the wise men said, and in PDF eBook protection it is desirable to not only have the capability to stop, but to control the various functions that are relevant to documents. The right PDF security software is therefore one that lets the publisher decide if in the first place his/her document can be viewed, and if so the number of views allowed, when it can no longer be viewed (expire), and if it should be viewed only online or if offline viewing is also possible. It should also enable the document owner to decide whether his/her creative can be viewed in thin and/or virtual environments. These controls are essential for authors who make their eBooks available on subscription basis. Nowadays, eBooks are widely used for online training courses and as such lecturers may need to make copies of such documents for use where computers are not available. In such situations the ability to just allow or stop printing is not entirely adequate as we may need to control the number of prints that can be made. The application of PDF security software featuring a watermarking capability (of which the user's and system identity information is dynamically displayed on the printouts) can serve as an effective deterrent to making unauthorized copies of the protected document. An appropriate PDF security software suite is one that can communicate with a licensing server to confirm whether the user is licensed to access and/or use your creative. This, as part of DRM controls, means that your document is protected regardless of where it resides. Going back to the subscription issue mentioned earlier on, it is useful if the eBook PDF protection application can be integrated into your existing ecommerce system so as to facilitate safe and instant delivery of licenses to authorized users. Last but not least, the eBook protection software licensing system should not be password-based as passwords can be forgotten, revealed to unauthorized parties, or even be exposed using password-cracking tools.

Performance Testing: Facts And Significance

As the name suggests, performance testing is all about testing the speed, reliability, and efficacy of devices, networks, programs, and hardware. In the case of user-interfaces, it may also apply to the ease-of-use or navigability. Regular testing helps determine whether devices are working at peak speed and also utilizing resources optimally. For this reason, the process of testing can be a comprehensive one, involving several functions across the area or device that is to be tested for its performance. Performance testing thus, is not limited to a specific function or component, but has to be conducted across systems, at times in conjunction with other functions as well. Performance testing may also refer to testing of human performance. It is easier to understand testing in this context: it is not so much about individual components performing; but about the final outcome of all the parts coming together to perform a single task. Similarly, performance testing is extended to machines and their performance in, say, factories or manufacturing units. Depending on the requirements, this testing can be a quantitative process, or a qualitative one. When it is quantitative, it may be measurable in terms of units of time or fuel consumed, or number of man-hours utilized. In contrast, when performance testing is qualitative, it is expressed in terms of system performance, whether it is an IT system, or a mechanical one, or human performance to be measured. However, such testing may take both quantitative and qualitative results into consideration. This is because the testing takes into consideration the entire system - and not its different components in isolation. Results of the this testing for a system will be a sum total of the performance of its components. Why Performance Testing? In terms of Information Technology (IT) for example, performance testing is not just about determining speed, efficacy, reliability, and navigability. It is also undertaken to find and remove issues or problems in the system. These problems can be identified by means of applying a thorough test; the trouble issue or component can then be identified, isolated and then resolved. In general, to obtain meaningful results, the parameters for such testing should be clearly defined. The better these are defined, the more helpful a performance test turns out to be. The Significance of Performance Testing The ideal performance monitoring and test is one that measures end to end performance and user experience when testing applications, or undertaking application monitoring. Further, all these have to be undertaken together with other measurable units such as resources consumption, processing time, optimum utilization of resources, and the overall health of the system, including endurance. Care must be taken that when a system is being tested for performance, no application or aspect is overlooked or left untested; this can affect the result and present an incorrect picture of performance of the health of the system. For this reason, performance testing should be delegated to those with experience and expertise in the field.

Portable Computers - Are They The New Home And Work Computing Solution?

When it comes to purchasing computers for home or business use then many of us are now choosing to buy a portable computer, be it a hand held one, a net book or a laptop, or one of the latest tablet computers. Many businesses are opting for portable computers as due to the wealth of applications available they are now ideal for collecting customer data such as electricity and gas readings. Taking this as an example, the meter reading is now typed in to a rugged handheld computer as soon as the meter is read, this reading is then uploaded via GPS to a central computer, and the bill is probably being printed within an hour of the reading being taken. Thus portable computers are now being widely used for data collection, as by computerising such processes the manpower needed is vastly reduced. Indeed the use of rugged portable computers is now widespread with parcel delivery companies and the post office now using rugged displays to take customer signatures. Many private individuals are now choosing slim line, lightweight portable computers rather than heavy, bulky desktop machines. This demand is on the increase, as many people now want access to the Internet when they are away from home, for not only surfing the web but also keeping up with emails, and with friends on social networking sites. Tablet computers are becoming the choice of many people who just need a computer for web browsing and handling email, with many of the latest models featuring high end multi-media capabilities as well. Net book sales are also on the increase for people who do not need a fully featured laptop computer but do need more computing power than a tablet, and the ability to do minor work on spreadsheets and word documents. The latest laptop computers are now just as feature rich as traditional desktop ones, and are also becoming a popular choice as lightweight batteries are now being produced that are making full size laptops truly portable, and now weighing under 1 kilo compared to older models that could weigh up to 3 kilos. The use of portable computing devices is also on the increase as many more of us choose to have wireless networks installed at home, allowing us to link our laptops, net books and even smart phones to our home networks. This means that you could even print photos taken on your smart phone wirelessly via a printer at home.

How to Speed Up Your Computer? Maybe It's Time For a New Computer

Tired of the usual how to speed up your computer tricks? If your computer is slow and is experiencing crashes, hang-ups, and Internet freezes, then maybe it's really the right time to replace your old computer and buy a new one. Below are some considerations when buying a new set: Brand New or Second Hand? If you want to buy a new computer set, it is advisable to consider brand new than a used computer set. Brand new computers have replacement and repair warranty so you can get specific parts replaced and repaired if they fail. Some used computers also have their warranty, but only for a shorter period. Notebook or Desktop? If you're always on the go, then a notebook suits your lifestyle. You can purchase a notebook from physical stores though online stores usually offer cheaper notebooks. Before you buy, better list down the specs you want from a notebook. Search for at least three notebook models that are fit to your needed specs and framed budget. Compare if you want to get the best. Desktops may not be that on-the-go compared with notebooks. But these are cheaper, sturdier, and more flexible for upgrade. You can buy used CPU and upgrade its specs so you can speed up your computer. PC or Mac? Macintosh computers have some limitations when it comes to upgrades because their parts are not generic compared to PCs. Macintosh also discourages user servicing. You may replace Mac computer parts, too. But these parts are usually harder to find. The only good thing about Mac is that the hardware and software work better with each other since they came from one manufacturer. Speed Up Your Computer Upgrading your computer memory is the most common and easiest way on how to speed up your computer. Check the compatibility of the memory card to your computer specs before buying. You don't want to spend money and hope only to end up with unmatched memory card. Some computers can only handle 1GB memory while others can handle up to 4GB memory. Notebook memory is different from that used for desktop computers. The former is usually smaller and more expensive. Upgrading your graphics card is another way on how to speed up your computer. Like memory cards, graphics cards have various slots. Old computer units might not have graphic ports for compatibility with newer cards. If you do video editing, or if you are a hardcore gamer, you certainly need a fast computer.

An MP3 Download Trick that Works

You signed up for a teleseminar and ended up missing it. Dang! But the hosts recorded it. Yah! They sent you an email message that says "Go here now and listen to the call in its entirety. BUT the web link in the email message points direct to the MP3 file and your browser's protesting. Dang again. The message you've received looks something like... "You can download and listen to the call to find out our exact secrets. Go here now: [http://www.some-guru-site.com/teleseminar-recording.htm]" Have you ever attempted to use the "right-click / save as" convention on a link in an email message? It just don't work. Why do marketers do this? Are they trying to make it difficult to download and pass an MP3 file around? Did they just have a lazy attack? It doesn't matter why because you can get around this nuisance. It's really easy. Do this: (1) Open a new blank web page document using your favorite HTML editor. (2) Go back to the email message and copy the web link that points to the MP3 file. (3) Flip back over to your HTML editor, paste the link into the source code of your blank web page document and format it properly as you would any other target URL. Following this procedure, your link will have a formatting something like this (Note - the beginning and ending anchor tags here have an extra "."): http://www.some-guru-site.com/teleseminar-recording.htm (4) Now, still in your HTML editor, go to "Preview" mode. Your link is fully functional and now you can use the conventional "Right-Click / Save As" function to start the file download just as if the teleseminar host had sent you to a download page online. That's it. That's all there is to our little MP3 file download trick. Save this article in your "sneaky computer tricks" file and next time you find yourself fighting with your web browser to access an MP3 audio file, it works slick as a snail trail.

Choosing The Right Printer Equipment - Just How Much Can It Save You!

When it comes to buying computer hardware then besides the purchase of our computer, the next purchase we make, and often the next most expensive, is a printer. All colour printers are the same are they not? Well nothing could be further from the truth with many printers that look the same size having very different features and running costs. Firstly let us look at running costs. The biggest single mistake you can make when buying a printer is to go into a computer superstore and just buy the cheapest colour printer you can, as the chances are it will be a purchase that will come home to haunt you. The reason for this is the consumables that they use in the form of toner cartridges. I actually learnt this the hard way, buying a cheap £65 printer that came with a set of free cartridges thinking that I had got a good deal. Unfortunately when they ran out a week later, I went back to the store only to find the toner cartridges were £20 each, making a grand total of £80 to replace all four. This meant every time I needed to change the cartridges then it was costing more than the original printer. So the first thing to look at when you have made your shortlist of printers is how much do the consumables cost? This will most often make your shortlist even shorter. Also look online to see if you can buy third party replacements, as if only the original manufacturer supplies them then you can be held to ransom if they start putting prices up. Many re-manufactured printer cartridges are now just as good as the originals and often half the price. Secondly have a good look at the features that you really need, as you can buy them with integrated faxes, scanners and copiers, but do you really need all those features? Email has virtually killed off faxes as an example. Also the more such features it has the more there is to go wrong. Lastly consider the replacement cost of your printer, current prices make them virtually disposable if they go wrong, and I would actually advise not taking out an extended warranty. It will come with 12 months as standard, and changes in European law will shortly see this go up to 24 months. So take all of this in to account when going out to buy your new colour printer.

Understand Computer Virus - Prevent Against Virus Attack

Virus is the worst of malwares (rogue programs) that causes serious havoc to your computer system. A virus is self-replicating and affects computer hardware, software, and even the Operating System. Viruses are designed to replicate themselves and to elude detection from anti-virus software, so without a good antivirus software it might be impossible to dig them out of your computer system. Computer virus is an executable program written with the intention of causing a wreck to your computer or network, and because viruses are programs, they are loaded into computer memory, executed and instruct the computer to perform the actions dictated by the virus. A virus can instruct infected computer to re-write the virus onto other computers in the network thereby spreading the virus from one computer to the next. A virus payload may also delete files from hard drive, write itself to another program, or even spread across the internet through file attachments. Virus may fall into one of these categories; 1) Parasitic - infects executable files or programs in the computer 2) Bootstrap sector - infect the boot sector of the hard disk where OS start-up files are stored on the first partition. 3) Data file - These types of viruses can open, manipulate and close data files, and are usually written in macro language. They mostly affect Microsoft Office Word document 4) Companion - this type of virus creates a program with same name as another program that already exist on the computer, tricking the computer to run the rogue program instead of the real program. Protect yourself by backing up your computer regularly so that in case there is an infection you can restore your system from the back up. It is also important you have very reliable anti-virus software on your machine. Good anti-virus must self-updates its database from time to time so that it can prevent you from a new attack.
