The Ultimate Face-Off: iOS Vs Android

At first, we were crazy for Windows-based mobile devices, and then came Apple's iOS following the Android range of OS'. I have always been a Windows fan boy after which I joined the Apple club. Lately, I have decided to switch over to the ubiquitous Android side of things. Owing to the prominence of Android and iOS it's no surprise that the top tablet PCs sport the OS'. This post will cover each operating system's benefits and some flaws to buy a tablet PC online. Stability After working on both systems, I find both pretty stable to use. The best tablet PC didn't stall or freeze up on me, like previous Windows renditions. While it might seem that the apps are closed in Android, fact is they lay hidden and avoid consuming resources. iOS should follow suit, right? Not quite! Because whenever the apps are minimized or exited, the system prompts to tap the Home toggle twice to close the apps. On the whole, iOS and Android are quite steady OS'. But it also based on the kind of apps installed on the top tablet PC s. Restricted Choice I'm sure may would agree, freedom in customization is not associated with Apple. They have limited the choices to customize the device. This transforms into developers being denied function n calls on just about every feature. For instance, you're helpless if you need a shortcut to toggle between on and off for the Bluetooth. iOS fails to allow developers entry to additional features as well. Android on the other hand resembles pure flexibility in this regard. You have a range of snazzy apps at your disposal on the best tablet PC. For instance, there's an app to set your profile to silent at a specific time or program it to ring as a wakeup call. Not forgetting that every Android will sport a different home screen. Compare this to iOS where every screen pretty much looks the same. App Integration With iOS, every app is secluded carrying out just their own features. They are barred from corresponding with each other. The iOS 5 will feature Twitter additions but that's as good as it gets. Android is all about integration. For instance, once you've clicked a photo, you're given an option to share it. In case Facebook or Twitter is set up, the Share feature will allow dispersing snaps via the available social mediums. Hope you come to a conclusion to buy a tablet PC online.
