The HP Color Inkjet Printer CP 1700 is a unique color inkjet due to its immense features. The printer comes with complete advanced quality and allows for the user to get their money's worth. The ZoomSmart feature for example, resizes the documents simply and easily without even using a computer to accompany the process. The feature can scale images up or down by percentage or page size. It has a number of features that let you print and command the printer without the use of a computer. The handout feature shrinks output. This means you can fit up to 16 pages onto one page. Each hand out page can be a different size from the original too. They have the option to add borders for singling pages out, or watermarks to overlay pages. This feature doesn't allow definition of print orientation though. However, it does depend on the orientation setting of the page and the number of pages confined to the one sheet. The printer also allows for duplex printing. This means that you have the option to print on both sides of the paper. This will allow you to cut down on paper cost as much as 50 percent. You may print and collate multiple-page documents by printing two pages on each side of every paper in the command, fold them in half and make a booklet. Much like booklet printing you can use mirror image to your advantage. The combination of auto-duplex and mirror image printing can allow for a nice see-through effect on one page. It might give the effect of a backlit page, or be useful to use on a backlit page display or it may be useful in a situation where you need an iron-on transfer. Now, the computer also has the ability to do tiling. In combination with the mirror image with the tiling you could enlarge a print with tiling, piece the pages together and do a back lit display.
